Subjects and Emotion Part 2

In this tutorial, we would like to present an exercise demonstrating object manipulation and visual illusion in black light theatre. The video shows how performers animate visible elements on a dark stage so that they appear to move independently. Through careful coordination of hand movements, positioning, and timing, the performer guides the movement of the object while remaining hidden from the audience.

This activity demonstrates one of the central principles of black light theatre, where performers dressed in black operate on a dark stage illuminated with ultraviolet light. Under these conditions, fluorescent or brightly coloured objects become clearly visible while black clothing blends into the background, making the performer effectively invisible.
