Day 7 of the training “Out the Shadow: Improvisation in Black Light Theatre” was dedicated to reflection and closing the process. The project “Out The Shadow” is unfolding and on 08-10 November 2025 the 3d partner meeting took place in Siauliai Tech in Siauliai, Lithuania. We have evaluated the recent training course, produced materials and work which has been done so far and planned next steps for project development. Also, we have planned the next training course in the framework of the project as well as monitored development of the tutorials and MOOC platform.

The project “Out The Shadow” is unfolding and on 04-05 May 2025 the 2nd Partner Meeting took place in the headquarters of Theatro Metaphora in Camara de Lobos, Madeira, Portugal. We have discussed and evaluated the work which has been done so far and planned the next steps for the project development. The project platform was presented and soon we will be able to share with you some exciting content on Black Light Theatre! Stay tuned!

On Day 6 of our training we learned about less obvious ways of working with masks and explored shadow theatre. At the end, we created a performance program that combines all the techniques we have learned so far. The final performance is coming!!!

Hello! The time has come to share about the last day of our training course: “Out The Shadow: commedia dell’arte”! The day was all about final performance: first of all, we had the last rehearsal and later the final performance of our training course - big final accord for our training! In the afternoon, we have evaluated the whole training course and planned the local actions.

Hey, hey! Here comes the wrap up of day 5 of our training course! We worked on building clear images in physical theatre and on creating a coherent narrative in improvisation. The second part of the day was devoted to creating theatre etudes using commedia dell’arte masks and UV lighting effects.

Hello, hello! A lot of things have happened in the Day 3 of the training course “Out The Shadow - Commedia dell’arte”. Today we warmed up by learning about mime techniques and then started making our own commedia dell’arte masks using paper pulp.

Hello, hello! Our training is progressing and here is the wrap up of the day 4!��We created puppets and learned how to operate them. We talked about metaphor and its role in theatre. For the first time we turned off the regular light and could see the effects of our work with puppets under UV light.

Yes, yes we have started our second training course in the framework of "Out The shadow" project! We spent some time for introduction and getting to know each other, getting comfortable with each other, ourselves and our bodies. Since part of the group has participated in the 1st training course, we built a lot on the past experience that they had and already introduced the approach and values for the coming training.
