Dates: April 10-18, 2025 Location: Dobczyce/Kraków, Poland
The project is designed for individuals interested in actively addressing issues of youth social exclusion. "Out the Shadow" uniquely combines the innovative techniques of Black Light Theatre (BLT) with the traditional commedia dell'arte method, creating powerful tools to empower young people and overcome social barriers.
Project Objectives:
Understand the core elements of BLT, an engaging form of visual performance art that creatively manipulates light and darkness using fluorescent costumes and props under UV lighting.
Explore how BLT techniques can be effectively integrated with commedia dell’arte methods for educational purposes, especially within youth work contexts.
Develop practical skills in applying BLT and commedia dell’arte techniques to promote creativity, engagement, and social inclusion among young people.
Accommodation, meals, coffee breaks, training materials, and trainer costs are fully covered by the project organizers. Travel costs are also reimbursed up to a specified limit.
